FPSO’s (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels)

IPS Group has made a name for itself with turnkey components for the worldwide offshore oil and gas industry.

A Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO) is an offshore production and storage facility with processing equipment on the topside of the vessel and storage capacity in the hull. The FPSO vessel is equipped to store the processed hydrocarbons to then be offloaded via either shuttle tankers or via pipelines to the shore.

In operation, the FPSO vessel is tied to one or more subsea wells through a number of pipelines or risers that have been already installed on the seafloor. There are massive challenges that come with combining a subsea management facility, oil and gas processing, and storage operation on a single vessel.

IPS Groups provides application-specific steels and materials to the construction and maintenance of your FPSO vessel. We supply high yield structural steels, offshore construction grade and shipbuilding grade steel, as well as a number of different types of corrosion resistant alloys (CRAs) from the stocking facilities of our sub-suppliers or manufacturers facilities located in close proximity to global shipbuilding centers.  We procure pipe, flanges, and fittings in carbon, low-temperature carbon, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, and nickel alloy. Working with our sister company Maverick Valves we can also supply ball, gate, globe, check, plug, butterfly, needle and Pneumatic Valves and coordinate full skid fabrication with our partners for both new builds and turnarounds.

All materials can be supplied to EN, API, ASTM, ASME, ISO, JIS, AS, NORSOK, and other international standards.
